With nearly a decade of experience in land acquisition and development, Thomas Kruk has played a foundational role in Phoenix Energy’s story. As one of the original five partners who helped launch the company, Thomas was instrumental in acquiring the mineral acreage that set Phoenix in motion. Known by his longtime nickname “Tugboat,” a nod to his early days at Ferrari Energy, he’s recognized for his steady approach and ability to get deals across the finish line.
Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Thomas brings a relationship-driven mindset to every interaction—whether he’s engaging with mineral owners, landowners, or colleagues. He takes pride in building lasting partnerships and strengthening the sense of family that defines Phoenix.
Outside of work, Thomas treasures time with his wife, four daughters, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. He enjoys serving in his church, playing racquetball, building projects, and exploring real estate ventures. Guided by faith and fueled by purpose, Thomas remains committed to helping Phoenix continue to rise.
