The Phoenix Story

Always Rising

We began this journey as a small company reaching out to small landowners. Management is focused on sustainable growth to continue to capture more of the addressable market and further bolster America’s energy independence.

Bringing Phoenix Energy to Life

We all seek purpose—through family, work, or personal mission. For Daniel and Charlene Ferrari, that journey began with blue-collar roots and a devotion to everyday people. The rise of Phoenix Energy reflects their belief in hard work, faith, and putting Main Street before Wall Street.

2017

In 2017, a routine flu shot left Daniel Ferrari paralyzed from the neck down—an event that changed everything. But his resilience and determination to rebuild became his defining traits, shaping both his life and business. The name “Phoenix” symbolizes the family’s journey: a powerful rebirth marked by hope, grit, and rising stronger from adversity.

2019

In 2019, Daniel and Charlene Ferrari founded Lion of Judah Capital to invest in the backbone of American energy—upstream oil and gas—and Phoenix Capital Group Holdings, LLC was formed. With roots in factory work and small business, their mission was to serve the common worker and honor the values of integrity, hard work, and honest labor.

We began operations with the development of our specialized software system, which we have designed and improved over time to support our ability to identify, analyze, underwrite, transact, and manage our oil and gas assets. We acquired our first mineral interest asset and began to generate revenue.

Early 2025

Following the success of its newly established operating arm, the company rebranded from Phoenix Capital Group Holdings to Phoenix Energy One (DBA Phoenix Energy)—a move that reflects its evolution from a focus on royalty assets into a full-fledged energy production company firmly rooted in the Williston Basin of Montana and North Dakota, steadily expanding its footprint and delivering standout production results.

Our Approach

What Sets Phoenix Apart

As we grew, we wanted to expand rapidly, but reaching out for big institutional investments meant that we’d lose a large part of the equity we’d worked so hard to build. The JOBS Act5 allows us to reach out to a large audience of investors. We are in a position to raise funds and generate value for investors in a way that inspires us and aligns with our values.

What Guides Us

Our Values

Strategic

Our technology is designed to predict future income potential from land assets. We believe this intelligence, paired with our negotiating prowess, helps us to unlock significant value.

Disciplined

We use well-defined criteria to target and maintain a balanced portfolio of high-quality oil and gas assets.

Growth-Focused

Management is focused on growth, with the goal of expanding our share of the addressable market and supporting America’s energy independence.
